Bio energy
Bio energy is energy extracted from biomass. With bio energy, heat, electricity or fuels for combustion engines can be extracted sustainably. With regard to the supply of renewable energy in Germany, bio energy makes up the biggest part. If it is possible to make new sources accessible that resolve the 'food or fuel' issue, bio energy can make a decisive contribution in the replacement of fossil fuels in developed countries, as well as in emerging and developing countries.
